Nice one. I actually ride one of these myself! Definitely a decent budget-priced entry level option.

    Hey Lynten,

Just wondering if Eighthinch bikes can be done up to a roadie and if it’s a good idea. I’m actually looking for a reasonably priced roadie for general riding. I generally do distances of 60km and above at a time on my MTB. Interested in this bike as the frame looks really classic.

    • October 16, 2009 at 7:44 am | #11

HI Josh, technically yes, but it will bring the cost up and can take only 5 speed hubs.

Thanks for the really early reply =) mind emailing me the price? I don’t mind a 2×5 speed bike as i’m usually a heavy crank-er. Something of a Tiagra equivalent groupset would be sufficient for me. Thanks again.

Hi Josh, will see what we can come out with and get back to you.
