between this and the surly steamroller, whats your opinion?
Hi J, that’s a hard question to answer but in all fairness, it will depend on what sort of ride you want.
The Peloton is more a track track bike while the SR is more of a street track, so it will boil down to your riding style and preference.
Yo! hey man like can i buy the frame and like fix the rest of the bike to create a fixie . How long will it take and how much?
Hi Chris, the Peloton is for fixed, except you can run brakes. of course you can buy the frame and fork to build. How long – about a day if I have everything you want. How much – it will depend on what you choose.
Hi TR,
What’s the effective top tube length on the size 49? Where are these Peleton’s from?
Whats the big difference between one of these and a Pake? Difference in price for frame and fork?
Thanks
HI Zman, ETT is 51. They are made in Taiwan for the Japanese market. The difference is that these have a nice built-in chain tensioner, fork is threaded for the old skool look, price difference is $200.
TR,
200 Bucks which way?
Thanks..
EXACTLY $200 UP.
Sorry, forgot to ask also,
What kind of stem does this take? Quill stem compatible?
Thanks
yes, but you may need new headset.
